Liverpool suffered another defeat this season by  Aston Villa by 3 goals to 1,really this is wake up call for Liverpool if it wants to be the title contender this season.

Lucas scored an own goal and one goal was scored due to set pieces, this made 0-2 at half time.

During the second half Liverpool seemed dominating the game and creating chances but not taking it.

The Torres scored a nice goal made by  Insua but soon after Gerrard miscalculated his tacle and gave away a penelty.

That was a really frustating game for Liverpool at Anfield .

Liverpool has lost 2 games till now in this season,that’s really poor far a team of such standard

Another clash between two teams when their points are same .

This meeting was held at Anfield and another time this season Liverpool won 2 – 0

Fernando Torres scored two late goals and Lampard was sent off during a tackle on Xabi Alonso,

However it was not a red card challenge.

I know what you would thinking”That If Liverpool Win or Lost.”. Again a draw for the Liverpool against Stoke City and If I tell Frankly ,

Liverpool did not looked like they have come to this match to win.

Their body language was not impressive as usual and neither they played too aggresively.

One reason could be the absence of Rafa Benitez on touch line.

Stoke City really did looked impressive in this match and probably threatened Liverpool and crated some wonderful opportunities but unfortunately was not able to score.
